Scratch is a visual programming language, particularly suitable for teaching event-driven programming to young students. Panda Programmer uses Scratch to teach many of the fundamentals of computer programming. With scratch, our students create games, animations, simulations, and interactive art and music projects. The Scratch platform is open source, so viewing the existing projects available on the Scratch website, or modifying and testing any modification are all possible.
Scratch programming allows users to use multiple active objects called “sprites”. Sprites can be drawn—as either vector or bitmap graphics, imported from external sources, or standard ones may be used by importing from the Scratch programming library.
